Founded in 1847 in Paris, France the company is a renowned jewelry company of which includes pens. Although some pens were made prior to 1910, it is at that date the company first marketed a ranges of pens. Cartier is part of the Richemont AB Swiss Luxury Good group that holds a range of high-end pen lines that includes Dunhill, Montblanc and Piaget.
2024 Update: Pens are found under the theading of Art of Living on the Main cartier.com website. They are difficult to find. For example, pens are only listed in the Bloor Street store in Toronto, for all the Cartier Boutiques in Canada. In Italy, only the Venezia Bourtique came up as having a particular pen I was looking at. This experience only echos the concern I have heard from pen owners finding it very hard tio find Cartier pens.
