Family business founded in 1930 by Constantin Samard taken over by his grand-son Stephan Arnal and his friend Leo Smaga in 1987. The company first started making luggage. The head office is located in Chaville close to Paris, France. RECIFE writing instruments are designed in-house and are known for its different and innovative shapes, materials and colors. The website shows predominately ball point pens, there they include some fountain pens.
