Pelikan

Pelikan inks date back to 1838 when a chemist, Carl Hornemann founded an ink company. Later in 1863 Gunther Wagner took over the position of chemist and plant manager. In 1871 he took ocer the company and registered his family emblem - the Pelican. This became the company logo in 1878. It was in 1901 when the famous 4001 series as launched.

Pelikan makes a variety of inks, also ensure you are using fountain pen ink for use in your pen.

The ink comes in either a 30 ml or a 62.5 ml glass bottle. Currently the ink is available in Blue-Black, Royal Blue, Brillant Red, Brilliant Black, Brillant Brown, Turquoise, Violet and Dark Green.
